This is a very special gift from the Boy Scouts of America to Scouts in England. The story goes that one day, an American was walking in London on a foggy night and he was lost. A young Scout walked up to help him find his way. He left the man without telling him who he was. The man was so impressed, he came back to America and founded the Boy Scouts of America. The BSA gave this statue to Gilwell Park to honor the unknown Scout.
